Born and raised in New Jersey, Jason was popped out in Avon-by-the-Sea in 1980. He first stumbled upon his passion for design during an elementary school architectural drawing project. Little did he know at the time, his great great grandfather Arthur Herman Thomson was an architect, hailing from Scotland and ultimately ending up in North Jersey.

But math was always a wrench in the spokes so to speak for Jason and so his desire to be an architect turned to web design. After shunning college in 1998, Jason landed a full time web design position straight out of high school. It was during this time that Jason's love of graphic design came to the forefront.

In 2003, Jason's world of web added print, photography and writing to the mix when he was offered a full time gig with the triCityNews in Asbury Park, NJ where he still works to this day. Here he has his hands in just about everything; layout, editorial, advertising, paper delivery, office sweeping, trash removal, occasional toilet scrubbing and the like.

On the side Jason enjoys collecting junk and is often found rummaging through the local flea markets, garage sales, antique stores and vintage shops. He's also an avid interior design junkie with a queer eye for a straight guy. Wink, wink.
